The generous donation of 10,000 euros from CIBORIUS will enable THW-Jugend e.V. to significantly expand its digitization program. This program has taken on an important role in the training and networking of young THW helpers.<\/p>\n
In today’s digitally networked world, the Internet has a central function as a platform for the exchange of information and the transfer of knowledge. For the <\/span>THW Youth<\/strong> <\/span>the video streaming platform Twitch plays a particularly important role. Young helpers can use this digital platform to <\/span>learn valuable skills<\/strong>, including how to safely secure and stabilize structures and debris. These skills are crucial to ensure the safety of the emergency services at the various locations.<\/p>\n To date, these <\/span>digital training services<\/strong> <\/span>broadcast live twice a month. Young helpers between the ages of six and 18 use an online environment that is familiar to them to discuss crucial topics such as flood protection and drinking water supply. <\/span>The generous donation from CIBORIUS now enables THW-Jugend to expand its digital offering with a new, valuable format – the “Expert_innentalk”<\/strong>.
