The <\/span>THW Youth<\/span><\/a> <\/span>uses the Internet to exchange and communicate content. The video streaming platform Twitch plays a major role here: in digital youth services, the young helpers learn, for example, how to properly shore up and brace – in other words, how to secure structures, parts of buildings and ruins so that helpers can work safely at the scene of an accident.<\/p>\n So far, the digital youth service has been broadcast live twice a month – young helpers aged between six and 18 stream exciting content on topics such as flood protection and drinking water supply in an online environment that they know and love from their free time. Thanks to the donation, the digital work of the THW Youth can be supplemented by another format, the “Expert_innentalk”. The name gives it away: Here, experts speak and go into greater depth on individual topics to prepare the young helpers for their missions in the best possible way.
