Our history
In 2006, I, Andreas CIBORIUS, founded the CIBORIUS Group. From the very beginning, I have made my drive my company’s drive: To work innovatively and purposefully to achieve the best results for my customers. The fact that our customer base is growing is proof of our good work. We now have over 1,500 employees and colleagues working for us at over 100 locations throughout Germany.
Our customers include well-known companies and state and federal authorities. We have always relied on the proven combination of state-of-the-art technology and flexible solution concepts.

- 2006 Company foundation in Gera
- 2007 Expansion of the trade fair services, reception and telephone services, hostess service
- 2008 Establishment of the security services division for property and plant security, personal and event protection
- 2009 Establishment of facility management Winter services, grounds maintenance, cleaning and janitor services
- 2011 Opening of the southern branch in Hanau (Hesse). The Gera location becomes the central branch.
Perfect organization thanks to short and efficient response times for our customers on site - 2012 Foundation of the northern branch in Berlin. Relocation of the company headquarters from Gera to Berlin
- 2012 Introduction of a quality management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2008
- 2013 Auditing and certification of the quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 by TÜV Süd
- 2013 Auditing and certification of the quality management system in accordance with DIN 77200:2008 by TÜV Süd
- 2015 Relocation of the SOUTH branch to the financial metropolis of Frankfurt am Main. An important international hub for us and our customers
- 2016 Opening of a new southern branch in Mannheim. First step towards offering the service nationwide in Baden-Württemberg.
- 2017 Opening of a new southern branch in Stuttgart.
- 2017 Conversion of the Frankfurt, Mannheim and Stuttgart locations into independent companies
- 2017 Relocation of the Gera branch to Erfurt
- 2018 Planning and preparation of our own certified emergency call and service control center in Frankfurt am Main
- 2018 Commissioning of the state-of-the-art emergency call and service control center (NSL) in Frankfurt am Main
- 2018 Introduction of a TÜV-certified environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001
- 2019 CIBORIUS opens its own training academy for security and management training
